[John is, in fact, doing exactly that. He's knelt down in prayer, hands clasped in front of him. It looks like he hasn't really moved in hours because, well, he hasn't. The little cot has been untouched for six days, as John has been sleeping in that very position. His food is untouched to the side, as he doesn't eat until the evening, but he does have a water bottle beside him.
